Baked Italian Style Fish!"Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man how to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day!"
My family members are generally not big fans of seafood...but whenever I make this meal, they will happily crowd around the table and enjoy it. This recipe originates from my uncle, and it is absolutely amazing! The combination of the mellow garlic, flaky salmon, zingy lemon, and subtle dill makes this an unforgettable dish! I strongly recommend salmon, but you can always try with other fish as well.
It is so simple that it bears out what Chef Gusteau said in the movie Ratatouille "Anyone can cook"!! The result is moist fillet of fish finessed full of fragrant flavours...it is so good, that I must mention a bit of practical advice... "Never eat more than you can lift!!" What do you call a fish with no eyes??? INGREDIENTSInstructions:1. Cut the salmon fillets into chunks; the chunks don't have to be the same size, they just have to cooked for the same time. So a thicker cut of salmon can be shorter while a thinner cut can be longer.
2. Combine all of the ingredients into a bowl and mix thoroughly. 3. Place the salmon fillets into a baking tray and put in a preheated oven (220 degrees Celsius) and let it cook for 10 minutes. 4. Take the salmon out of the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes. Its important that the fish should rest for a bit before you enjoy it. |
